I am so tempted to log in with my 80 Druid who is well geared for PVP (Feral) but only tolerable for a level 80 Heroic (Healing). My account lapses in January and I just haven't planned to log in until it does. However, the urge, that burn, this big ol' Monkey on my back is whispering in my ear -- "you know you want to."

Like Julie told me once, and I think it is great advice...

I think I will just go lay down until the feeling goes away. Alganon and Fallen Earth with the occasional dose of Champions Online does me good for now.

Well, I did a LOL...when I read Rod's comment...very nice! : ) I also LOVE pugs...the 4 legged kind. But did you know...that WoW has ALSO put in a special feature that checks to see if your gear is "up to snuff" for a particular instance/raid/heroic? Talk about making it more difficult for the little guy! I have a DK with really bad gear, that I have been playing lately to try and get better gear...with this new feature, I may not be able to do the very instances that I want to do in order to get the gear I need!!!??? Wow, this is getting insane! But I love pugs (the dogs) I HATE pugs (the Pick Up Groups)!!! Fran

As for me, I love the four legged sort of pugs myself - and I dearly miss mine. The poor little fella was dognapped by an ex. My ex left me and stole my dog: I miss the dog. (You knew that was coming). The latest four legged edition to our household is a boston terrier we call "The Holy Terrie" (believe me she lives up to her nick name). She is sort of like a really fiesty black and white pug. In fact many people ask us if she is a put upon seeing her for the first time.

I love pugs. Well, at least the two that greet me every night when I get home and sit down at the computer and clock in to my second job of playing MMO's. Buddy and Otis just sit there and snort while laying at my feet being civil.

Thanks for the comment Ravenesque. As for me (half of the on air talent) I quit doing pick up groups when my bad experiences begin to far outweigh the good experience. The other factor here is that the guild we are in is a very active one and it is usually not hard at all to find a group.

As to the suggestion for a way garner what I have come to dub the "uber coinage of uberness" I will bring the matter to my co-hosts attention and ask her to reply when she is available to do so (which she is not at the moment).

The daily heroic has been changed to the Random Daily Dungeon. It does not require pugging in order to complete. You can make your 5 man group as usual and do the Random Daily for the frost badges and triumph emblems.

You can use the cross-server pugging tool to do the daily but it is not requirement. You can also make a 2-4 person group and pug the other missing members as well.

I am sorry that your experiences are so terrible with pugging. I love pugging and for me about 90% of the time they are some of the best experiences running dungeons. I have had bad experiences with both pugs and guild only groups.

I am find the he cross-server lfg tool is an absolute amazing addition to WoW. I can get into a group and have adventure and even if it isn't a perfect adventure it beats sitting in Dalarn for hours. I get to meet all kinds of people (good and bad) that I would never meet if I stuck with guild/friend only groups.

A lot of my current “friends” were once nothing more than another unknown member in a pug.

Take care,
