Bandwagon: (A thousand voices speaking as one): You’re not playing the latest game!

Me: What?

Bandwagon: We SAID you’re not playing the latest game – Paper Mario: The Origami King.

Me: First, it isn’t out until next Friday. Second, I haven’t had my Switch Lite that long. I have only just now finished Animal Crossing and I have only just now started on Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling; not to mention the fact that I haven’t even touched Breath of the Wild, or Witcher 3. And that reminds me. Why aren’t there more female protagonists in video games?

Bandwagon: Don’t get off subject. Besides, Witcher 3 and Breath of the Wild are about two guys.

Me: No, they’re not.

Bandwagon: What? Yes they are!

Me: If Breath of the Wild is a about Link then why is it called “The Legend of ZELDA: Breath of the Wild” If it were about link then it would be The Legend of LINK Breath of the Wild. Besides I think Link is a girl anyway.

Bandwagon: No he’s not!

Me: Have you played the game? The hero looks female to me. Besides why do you care what I think? You seem to spend alot of time arguing the other way around. Besides each new Link is a reincarnation.

Bandwagon: Look you do this every time. You always go off on these long tangents. You are only trying to side track the issue.

Me: You’re right I am.

Bandwagon: We knew it. So next week we will expect you to be playing Paper Mario: Origami King just like the rest of us.

Me: Last week you told me Bug Fables was the Paper Mario we have been waiting for. I am still playing that.

Bandwagon: That was last week. Next week Paper Mario is the Paper Mario we have been waiting for.

Me: Look I can’t afford all that. I’m just going to play the games I like anyway.

Bandwagon: You stink.

Me: Maybe I just stink.

Bandwagon: you do.
